Programs

Fine Fun is designed for children ages one to five years old. This program strives to:

- Educate Early Childhood Educators and parents on age appropriate fine motor skill development
- Prevent common fine motor problems
- Engage children in fun and meaningful fine motor activities

The implementation of this program will provide early intervention support to all children in order to reduce the risk of developing a fine motor problem in the first pivotal years of life.

Good Sense is geared toward children ages 2-5 years old to help address sensory processing needs in the classroom, to optimize the child’s ability to learn and lay the foundation for future learning.

The staff training session for this program included 5 hours of professional development training in the following areas:

- Sensory Processing Theory
- Assessment of Sensory Processing in Children (checklist)
- Implementing “Good Sense” in the classroom
- A materials list was provided in order to create a “Good Sense Kit” and a specialized Sensory Space within the classroom to help children remain at “just the right state” of arousal
